latest program, The Eloquent Physician
Version 2.5.

The Eloquent Physician
is a networkable, PC based system that lets
medical professionals create medical records
for all types of patients. It may be used
with keyboard and mouse, or voice activated
using Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical
Suite. When used in conjunction with Dragon
NaturallySpeaking Medical Suite, The
Eloquent Physician requires a minimum
configuration of 128 MB of RAM, Pentium III
processor (400 MHz or higher), 1 GB of free
disk space, Windows (95, 98, 2000, NT or
ME), a Windows compatible printer and
Internet access for on-line help and
updates.
“Most importantly,
the software is intuitive to use, easy to
‘train’ and is fully customizable by the
user,” said Fishman.
The Eloquent Physician
V 2.5 is available for $1,495. Shipping is
schedule to begin by mid-January.
The current version
accepts input via microphone or from a
handheld digital recorder and allows users
to save copies of their own .wav sound
files. According to PC Magazine, Dragon
NaturallySpeaking products achieve 98% to
99% accuracy. A large variety of patient
reports can be created for communication
with hospitals, insurance companies, lawyers
and other medical professionals. It is
possible to print, fax and/or email an
entire day’s reports to all contacts, by
means of their preferred delivery methods,
with a single mouse click.

2.5 is the latest voice recognition software
product developed by 21st Century Eloquence.
